Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 January 2026
This cookie policy explains how Solvatoria uses cookies and similar technologies in line with the ePrivacy Directive, the GDPR and Google Consent Mode v2.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website. They help us operate the site, improve it and — only with your consent — collect visit statistics.
2. Categories
We distinguish between strictly necessary, functional, analytical and marketing cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies are placed without consent; all other categories are set to 'denied' by default until you explicitly choose otherwise.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2 to transparently transmit your choice to Google services (including GA4 and Google Ads). As long as you have not given consent, no advertising or analytics cookies are placed, and ads_data_redaction is enabled so that URL passthrough works without personal identifiers.
4. Managing your choice
You can change your choice at any time via the 'Manage preferences' button at the bottom of each page, or by clearing your browser cookies. On your next visit we will ask for consent again.
5. Retention
Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain active for a maximum of 13 months, as recommended by European supervisory authorities.
6. Questions
Send your question to redactie@solvatoria.com. We respond within ten working days.
