Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 January 2026
At Solvatoria we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy describes which data we collect when you visit our website or subscribe to our newsletter, the purposes for which we process this data, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act.
1. Data controller
Solvatoria Stichting voor Educatie & Ecologie, located at Keizersgracht 482-H, 1017 EG Amsterdam, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 89 421 736, is the data controller for the personal data collected via solvatoria.com.
2. Data we collect
We only collect the data you provide through our contact or subscription forms: your name, email address and the content of your message. We also — and only after your explicit consent — record anonymised usage statistics through Google Consent Mode v2 and GA4.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) when subscribing to our newsletter, and on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for the security and operation of the website. We never use your data for profiling or financial purposes.
4. Retention
Subscription data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. Contact form messages are kept for 24 months, unless longer retention is legally required.
5. Third parties
We do not share personal data with commercial third parties. For email delivery and hosting we work with processors located in the European Economic Area, with whom we have data processing agreements.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing. Send your request to redactie@solvatoria.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) in The Hague.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect new legislation. The most recent version is always available on this page.
